Nearly a century old, Alpha Chi Xi is the oldest fraternity at Greyson. It's deeply conservative, very white, profoundly homophobic and VERY hardcore Greek - in fact, the last five presidents of the Greyson Greek Council were all Chi Xis. Though there are theoretically a vast number of checks and balances designed to prevent the Greek organizations from exercising too much power over the campus, Alpha Chi Xi has historically had a great deal of influence, and students who directly cross the fraternity tend to find themselves in a living hell. Though the frat's power has waned somewhat in recent years, it's still at the top of the heap - for the moment.

Most of the brothers of Alpha Chi Xi are secretly members of something called the Grey Fellowship, which claims direct descent from the Fellowship of the Nine Stars. In point of fact, the fraternity does have access to many of Greyson's journals and occult writings, and may know as much about his Fellowship as anyone can hope to know. At this point, however, while the Grey Fellowship still performs some magical rituals, they're pretty much just going through the motions - their every attempt at genuine magic is decayed and hollow. One or two of the brothers may have genuine power, but the others keep the rituals going out of a misguided sense of tradition more than anything else.

In recent history, Alpha Chi Xi has been most frequently associated with the Beta Alpha Rho sorority, which currently almost perfectly matches the image of the ideal, stereotypical sisterhood of perfect, forward-thinking and politicking potential first wives and - as such - is deeply appealing to most of the brothers.
