The companion to West Kroft Hall, East Kroft was completed in the same year, designed to serve as a new female dormitory - and, indeed, it remains exclusively female to this day. Though brutally functional on the outside, East Kroft is very well-appointed within, holding 1700 to 2000 students quite comfortably. Most of these students live in doubles or triples, but there are a handful of four-person and six-person suites scattered throughout the dorm.
